The brief was to create a stylised 3d fly-through and interpretation of proposed plans for Luton airport to win a bid to create a new runway.
The idea was to entice the board panel visually with clean modern graphics, showing them that it would be a great advantage building this new runway.
We had to guide their eyes and mind around and through the building making it easy to visualize without confusion.
We used a clean two colour look, utilising in 3D what is called "ambient occlusion" where you essentially just get black and white render with soft shadows filling the creases and folds of the geometry, then adding an establishing flat colour to certain objects
We would track the 3d space and add complimentary text and motion graphics so it matched the 3d animation camera.
